Lohan B.

Profile and story

Lohan, 6, in remission from neuroblastoma
Lohan is a six-year-old boy who, like many children his age, loves spending time with his friends and having fun. Now in remission, he is happy to be able to enjoy all the same activities they do, including one of his favourites: swimming.
Despite the challenges he faced during treatment, Lohan has fond memories of his visits to the Charles-Bruneau Cancer Centre at CHU Sainte-Justine. His parents describe him as an especially lovable child who never lost his bright smile throughout his journey.
When asked what he loves most in life, Lohan answers without hesitation: “Mom, Dad and my brother Alec!”
It comes as no surprise that his father is his hero. Lohan admires him greatly because he decided to go back to school, something Lohan can relate to now that he is a student himself. In fact, Lohan, affectionately nicknamed “Lolo” by his family, is very proud of the good marks he earns on his spelling tests.
What would a perfect day look like for this young fan of baseball, hockey and cycling? Spending quality time with his family, whether that means going to the movies or setting off on “a big trip to the other side of the world.”
Speaking about the cyclists and supporters taking part in the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau, Lohan’s parents share: “For us, this commitment goes far beyond simply taking part. It is a way to honour children and their families, create meaningful memories and help advance research for children facing cancer.”
