My Motivation
Hello, my name is Jade and I am now 16 years old. At two and a half, I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and, thanks to research, I have been in remission for 11 years. I have been involved with the Charles-Bruneau Foundation since I was very young because it is close to my heart, as it raises funds for pediatric cancer research.
This year will be my 5th participation in the Tour, because we have to keep going: there are still too many children who don’t make it, or who survive with serious long-term effects. I want to give the next generation of children with cancer a better chance of survival and fewer after‑effects from the treatments they undergo.
