My Motivation
Each year, the CIBC Charles‑Bruneau Tour brings together hundreds of cyclists with one shared mission: to fund pediatric oncology research and give children with cancer a better chance at life.
Thanks to this collective effort, the survival rate has increased from 30% to over 80% in the past 30 years. An incredible achievement — yet not enough, as cancer remains the leading cause of disease-related death among children.
That’s why I choose to get involved.
This year marks my 5th participation in the Tour, and my 3rd as captain of Team Cascades. I will be riding 550 km over 4 days — a demanding challenge, but one driven by purpose.
Over time, this commitment has become deeply personal. The opportunity to meet children and families supported by the Foundation — and to witness their strength and resilience — has been profoundly inspiring. It’s a motivation that goes far beyond the physical challenge.
By supporting this cause, you are contributing to something far greater: making a real difference in the lives of children and bringing hope to their families.
