My Motivation
I am participating in the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau for the sixth time now. A new route for me this year: Victoriaville à Boucherville, 250 km over two days.
This cycling event’s mission is to give all children with cancer the best chances of recovery by financing research and supporting the development of projects in the area of pediatric hematology and oncology.
As a cancer survivor myself, I am fully aware that survival rates have increased significantly over the years, thanks to advances in research and treatments.
It is inspiring and so rewarding to know that my fundraising efforts will be used to finance research projects which will lead to more effective treatments that cause fewer side effects in the children who have this terrible sickness.
