Aurélia Poirier
Profile and story
Aurélia was diagnosed with an inoperable and incurable brain tumour in 2014. She has been receiving treatment at the CHU Ste-Justine for the past two years.
Her mother describes her as extroverted, always smiling, empathetic and EXTREMELY courageous.
Aurélia loves cycling and playing the sick baby game: She gives that baby the same care that she has received.
Her most cherished dream is to meet Elsa and Snow White at Walt Disney World.

Aurélia has received excellent care at the Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau. Thanks to advances in research, a much more thorough biopsy was performed on her brain tumour, which allowed her to benefit from a targeted therapy that was very effective. Thank you for cycling to raise funds in support of sick children.
