Profile and story
Arnaud, 8, in remission from osteosarcoma
In April 2023, at just five years old, Arnaud was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. To treat this form of bone cancer, he underwent intensive treatment at the Charles-Bruneau Cancer Centre at CHU Sainte-Justine. Now in remission, Arnaud is doing well and requires fewer hospital visits, returning every four months for routine follow-up appointments.
Full of energy and positivity, Arnaud embraces life with enthusiasm. The young boy from Shawinigan is passionate about basketball and loves spending time on the court playing his favourite sport. He can also spend hours building LEGO® creations and letting his imagination run free.
Very close to his family, whom he loves dearly, Arnaud already has big dreams for the future. One day, he hopes to become an electrical engineer.
For his parents, the Fondation Charles-Bruneau was a constant source of support throughout their family’s journey. Grateful for the commitment of everyone taking part in the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau, Arnaud wanted to share this message: “Thank you for pedalling for children’s health!”
