raised for pediatric cancer research.

Interested in joining the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau adventure but not an experienced cyclist or seasoned fundraiser? Thanks to its shorter distance and lower fundraising goal compared to other routes, the Découverte trek is the perfect starting point to become part of the Tour’s big family.

Why ride the Découverte trek?

  1. An inclusive course: With a distance of 50 or 80 km, both Découverte loops are suitable for all cycling levels (flat route, mid-course lunch stop and no road bike required).

  2. An accessible commitment: With lower registration fees and fundraising goals than other routes, it's an ideal way to get started with the Tour.

  3. A meaningful cause: By riding the Découverte, you're helping fund pediatric cancer research.

50 or 80 km: which one to choose?

  • 50 km: You’ll ride in a large peloton of several hundred cyclists at a pace not exceeding 22 km/h. It’s a great opportunity to experience the group ride without any speed pressure. All under police escort, with cycling supervisors and technical services on the route.

  • 80 km: You’ll ride in smaller pelotons of up to 12 people, at a pace ranging from 22 to 28 km/h. Perfect for taking on the challenge at your own rhythm, with your team or alongside cyclists of similar ability.

On July 4,
let’s team up for a childhood without cancer.
