My Motivation

Each year, 2,000 Quebec children are diagnosed with cancer and are in critical need of timely treatment and quality care. The impact of the global pandemic has been deeply felt by everyone around the world – including the children who are fighting for recovery every day.

CIBC has been a proud, long-standing partner of the Fondation Charles-Bruneau and their biggest annual fundraising initiative, the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau,
a multi-day cycling fundraiser whose proceeds go directly to pediatric oncology. While the Tour has raised more then $42 million since it began 27 years ago, and every effort helps to make a difference, there is still progress to be made: 20% of children are continue to be diagnosed with cancer which is resistant to treatment.
