Profile and story
Miro, 5 years old, is in remission from Stage 4 neuroblastoma.
Even though he's doing very well, Miro continues to visit the Centre sw cancérologie Charles-Bruneau every six months. And between those visits, Miro misses the nurses and doctors, who are always kind to him. In fact, when asked who his idol is, Miro replies, on equal footing: Bruno Michon (his oncologist) and... Sidney Crosby!
Miro would love to work in construction, but for now, he's very proud to have lost his first tooth and to be learning to read.
Miro's parents wanted to share these few words with the participants of the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau: "A huge thank you for your involvement! You are truly making a difference in the lives of children and families facing cancer. Without fundraising efforts like the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau and research, Miro would not have survived.
