Malik F.
Profile and story
On February 28, 2022, at the age of four, Malik was diagnosed with B-type acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He began a two-year treatment plan close to home, at the Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau in Quebec City. Now in remission, he visits the CHU for his six-weekly follow-ups.
Since completing his treatments, he has taken up baseball and breakdancing, and has much more energy than he had during the two years of treatment. He now goes to school on a regular basis and is doing very well.
Malik is a generous, helpful, loving little boy. He loves superheroes. A special memory for him was the last day of his treatments when Malik rang the bell. An unforgettable moment!
