Cascades' commitment to the Charles-Bruneau Foundation and the families it supports is ongoing. For the past 16 years, the company and its employees have faithfully supported our cause. Since the beginning, Cascades has donated a grand total of $3.2 million to support innovative research in pediatric hemato-oncology.
Every year, its employees participate in large numbers in the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau to support the cause. In addition, Cascades holds fundraising initiatives to collect donations and raise awareness about the importance of supporting the Foundation's mission. In 2019 and 2020, the online sale and distribution of Fluff and Tuff stuffed animals provided comfort to families whose children are being treated at one of the four Charles-Bruneau cancer centres and units across the province.
On July 9th, about 50 Cascadeuses and Cascadeurs will ride with the hope of giving all children with cancer the best chance of recovery. Thank you to each of you for unrolling so much effort for a childhood without cancer!
