Invited to revisit his memories in an interview given to the French Canada media, cyclist Mario La Rochelle tells with emotion about his first participation in the Tour in 2015.
At the time, he had decided to register. Not because he knew a child with cancer or to satisfy a desire for philanthropy. Out of curiosity. And he got caught up in the game.
"I'd never done a fundraiser before. I'll admit I was running away from it. But it was upsetting to see these little guys who are so mature. They want to live. The difference with the other children is extraordinary," Mario tells the journalist.
