Profile and story
Samyra was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in March 2019. She received treatment at the Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau at CHU Ste-Justine. Always very positive, she tackled the fight and is now in remission and monitored every six months.
The second of four children is described as cheerful, hard-working and optimistic. Passionate about figure skating, her return to the ice following treatment was a significant moment for her. Now studying communications, she enjoys art and travelling.
