Profile and story

In September 2021, Nico was diagnosed with T-acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a cancer that affects the maturation of certain white blood cells. He is currently undergoing maintenance treatment and must go to the CHUS Fleurimont every month to receive chemotherapy.

The youngest of three children is described as persevering, empathetic and funny. All subjects at school fascinate him and pique his curiosity, but his favorite is French.

Nico fulfilled his wish from last year: he went to the beach in Florida, swam with his brothers and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine for the first time since he started his treatments. Now he wishes to finish his treatments so he can start riding his BMX again and hopes to win a medal in a competition.
