Profile and story
In 2012, Mathias was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma; he is now in remission. He continues to be followed twice a year at CHU Sainte-Justine.
Mat has a great sense of humor, and is caring, curious and persevering. During his treatments, his eyes were affected: he can now only see out of one eye, and often wonders what it's like to see with two. Mathias loves playing video games with his friends. Last December, he had the opportunity to take a trip to Disney World with his family.
