Profile and story
Léo was diagnosed with embryonic sarcoma of the liver over a year ago at the Centre de cancérologie Charles Bruneau at the CHU Ste-Justine. Affectionately nicknamed Léo Popino, the six-year-old boy has been in remission since March 2024. Today, he is in good health, visiting the hospital every six weeks for check-ups and every three months for his CT scan.
When asked to tell us more about himself, he says: “I have two adult teeth out, but only one baby tooth fell off. I'm like a shark.”
Léo is an intelligent and curious young boy. He's an absolute fan of Lego's and dreams of building 1000 constructions in the future.
