Mathyas Grenier

Profile and story

Mathyas, known as Mat, is a sweet and caring young boy. Mathyas is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia. He visits the CHUL every 2-3 weeks to receive his treatments.

Mathyas loves field hockey and one of his best memories is when he went the Montreal Canadiens with Leucan. When he's healed, Mathyas wants to return to Disney World.

A quick note from Mathyas:

Thank you to everyone for allowing my family and I to benefit from your support. This ordeal that makes us live hard moments is less difficult because we are supported by beautiful teams that accompany us throughout. Research is the most beautiful thing, because my type of leukemia had a cure rate of 30% 20 years ago and today it is more than 80%.
