Profile and story
Since she was very young, Arianne had been playing competitive sports and was in good health. In the winter of 2020, she began experiencing severe knee pain, fatigue and recurring headaches. Arianne and her family's life was turned upside down when they learned that she had acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Despite the complications of treatment, Arianne has remained optimistic. She even launched a fundraising campaign for the Charles-Bruneau Foundation as part of her end-of-year project in Secondary 5. The result exceeded all expectations; more than $22,000 was donated by the young girl to help other young people like her.
On May 24, Arianne completed her treatments. Finally, she can resume her normal life. In her honour, her mother will participate in this year's Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau on the 50 km course of the Découverte Boucherville.
A quick note from Arianne :
A huge thank you to all the participants! You will never know how much of a difference you are making by raising money for sick children!
Arianne is the hero of the routes...
